Minus has left the clan. After anonymous reports of him calling certain members cheaters and cheating himself, we have added him to the traitors list. We would like to have a LAN party next weekend, but we can't find anyones house to have it at. We are thinking of having a 4 person LAN party at my house. I am not sure if my Mom will allow it. I have finally updated the allies page. BDX, V7D, and AKA are now our allies. Go check out their pages. They are linked on the allies page. I also tweaked some of the graphics sizes so that they will fit in our recommended resolution (1024x768.) I also removed the midi to make the page load faster. A song I recommend listening to instead while navigating the page is The Cynic Project's Start the dance [Eurodance mix].
BIG NEWS!!! Mohawk has brought to my attention that in the classifieds of the Juneau Empire there is an ad for a Lan Party. Well we called the guy and there is going to be a massive Lan Party here in Juneau the first week of June, probably a Saturday. The guy is going to invite the TK clan in
Anchorage and many other, along with the people he has been having Lan parties with to come to this. He is aiming for more than 60 people with GCI and probably Norcom to host with there hardware. Its going to be near Foodland. So let everyone know and we will keep you updated.
NETWORK PARTY TONIGHT!!!!! Check the Lan party page, it should be updated by mid-day today.
DeathCookie and Cyko have joined the clan!
Slicen and DeathAngel have joined us! We are the best and always will be.
Happy to say that we allied with BDX, who are a great bunch of players if you've ever had a chance to play with em. We plan to have a friendly match on Counter Strike with them
somtime in the future, so check back later for more about that. Also x0rb and Greg have joined the ranks.
The site has had a major "Makeover," as you can see. Minus has been pretty busy with the addition of things like the jukebox on the bottom left. This isn't the end however. There is still tons of work to be done. Everyone keep coming up with ideas for the web page like backgrounds and other stuff.
Many more updates, several by Minus. The buttons have been redone along with the completion of the join page. Look for major updates soon.
Lots of updates. Check all around the site. Update to join page and screenshots page. We will be making a drop box on the ftp for everyone to put stuff that they want on the site or just want everyone else to see it.
Just testing the news. We are adding new people to the clan everyday, so if you think you have a prospect let us now and we will consider it. By the way everyone look for a good background, cool font, and some good logos we can use on the site. We are just at the beginning and will be working the site constantly.
We should be adding a network party section soon (the main reason for the site). It will include times, directions, and stuff needed to bring.
For the people looking for the High School Web Page info, it will be located at http://www.luddite.cx/howto.html
{{Bonfire}} has also joined the ranks.
Mohawk, Minus, and Xenthate have joined the ranks. They were both at the last (and my first) network party I went to. I am glad to see them join. If you are interested in joining send me an e-mail and we will talk.
We registered the domain luddite.cx. We did not get a .com, .net, or .org
domain because they cost more (75 dollars for 2 years) and because luddite.com,org,net
were all taken. .cx only costed 50 dollars for 2 years and .cx is a cool abreviation.
It stands for Christmas Island. I can be contacted at chibi@gci.net
if you need to talk to the webmaster/server with questions and comments.
This site is created using a modified version of the VCA clan shell (which
I designed.)
First news!
This is a HALF-LIFE clan which plays on the gci.net Team Fortress Classic server called Great Alaskan Half-Life (halflife.gci.net.)
